Important Notice About Recent CheckFree Security Issue

 
 

You may have read in recent press that CheckFree, our third party provider for online bill payment services, experienced a security issue. North Island Credit Union would like you to know that a very small subset of online bill payment subscribers may have been affected.
 
Specifically, only those members who attempted to access online bill payment between 9:30 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) Monday, December 1, 2008 and 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 were potentially impacted. We are in the process of notifying those members with detailed information and advising them of the remediation that CheckFree is providing.
