e-Statement Disclosure and Terms of Service
By accepting below, I hereby request and consent to receive my credit union account statement(s) from the credit union by way of electronic delivery.
In consideration of the eStatement services to be provided by North Island Credit Union (CREDIT UNION), as described on www.MyIsland.com and is described from time to time in information distributed by the CREDIT UNION to its members, I understand and agree to the following:
- I request and authorize the CREDIT UNION to send an email notice of regular periodic account statement availability to myself or my agent, in lieu of paper copy, in electronic format for all accounts designated in this agreement to be viewed through the CREDIT UNION's eStatement service on www.MyIsland.com.
- The CREDIT UNION will provide such information in a clear, conspicuous manner that I can print and/or store using my own personal computer hardware and software.
- I may request a paper copy of my account statement by calling North Island Credit Union's Contact Center at (619) 656-1600.
- I acknowledge that a fee may be charged for this paper copy of my account statement.
- I may revoke this authorization at any time and resume receiving paper statements, modify my account statement delivery options, or update my user profile. To do, so I must:
- Signon to online banking
- Click the "Statements" button
(Email information may be updated at this point)- Select the "Change your statement delivery options" link
- I may also call the Online Desk at North Island Credit Union's Contact Center at (619) 656-1600, option 7.
- I will notify the CREDIT UNION immediately if I am unable to access any of the information that has been delivered in electronic form or manner.
- I will provide the CREDIT UNION with a written or electronic notice of any changes in my email address. I understand that if the electronic account statement delivery has been unsuccessful, my account statement delivery options will automatically be returned to distribution by paper statement.
- In order to receive such account statements electronically, I must maintain an email address, and must have access to equipment that meets the following minimum standards.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, Netscape Navigator 6.0 or higher, or any browser capable of handling 128 bit encryption software.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- These minimum standards may change from time to time.
- I am entering an agreement between myself (and all joint owners of this account) and I agree to indemnify and hold the CREDIT UNION harmless for any and all claims raised by said joint account owners that their rights have in any way been adversely affected by the electronic delivery of information as provided in this agreement.
- CREDIT UNION shall not be responsible or liable for:
- Any costs associated with updating, modifying or terminating my hardware or software.
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to eStatement Services.
